What will my child learn at Kindergarten?
Children learn through play. In our Kindergarten program, your child will participation in meaningful play based learning experiences which are cultivated to encourage their social, intellectual, language, physical and emotional development.
Under the expert care of our qualified early childhood teacher your child will:
- Use language to communicate ideas, needs and feelings
- Become confident in their abilities and develop independence
- Use creativity to express feelings and thoughts through art, dance, music and play
- Identify, explore, communicate about and solve problems
- Create meaningful relationships, friendships and learn to co-operate with and consider other children
Participate in our kindergarten program will also help your children learn literacy and numeracy skills that will prepare them for Prep and develop their communication skills that will assist with the beginnings of reading and writing through our all round program.
We are also very fortunate at Karalee Kindergarten and Early Years Learning that we have a wonderful nature space and through this we offer a bush kinder program including nature walks, orienteering, bush art and botany, building of forts, climbing trees, hypothesising and collaborating with peers and of course, camp fires and camp fire cooking experiences.
